Ayvan sits on the western slope of Ortahisar Castle, inside a two-storey mansion built in the 1870s. Stone rooms and ayvan suites fill the upper floor; cave rooms are carved into the tuff below the courtyard. Nine rooms, one courtyard, one table.

Before you arrive
The Cave Room has one window, but every room has ventilation and a dehumidifier. If you love daylight, we suggest the Stone Room facing the courtyard.
Yes. We book you with licensed balloon companies and you pay the company directly. Pickup is at the mansion door, about an hour before sunrise.
Check-in 14:00, check-out 11:00. If the room is free, early check-in and late check-out are on us; you can leave your luggage at any time.
Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport is about 40 km away, Kayseri Erkilet about 75 km. Send us your flight time and we arrange the car; the fare is per vehicle, not per person.
The mansion has stone stairs and terrace edges without railings, so we welcome children over 7. An extra bed fits in the Ayvan Suite.
Every room has underfloor heating. Cave rooms sit inside the rock, so they stay mild in winter anyway; on snowy days the stove is lit in the courtyard.
